How To Register

Siu Lum Gar students need to register with the web site so that they are kept up to date with the latest newsletters, club information and training manuals.
Registering is easy, though you need to ensure that Siu Lum Gar's emails are not dropped by accident by SPAM filters or SPAM software. If you do not receive any of the automatic emails generated by the web site then you need to double check any SPAM folders or create a filter to allow email from " This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it "
Step 1
Click on the Students Registration link then click on the Students Registration Form link
Step 2
Complete in all sections of the simple form then click on the Register button
Step 3
After registration is complete you'll see a Registration Complete message which tells you that have been sent an email, you need to now check your email inbox.
Step 4
You will see in your inbox a message like the one show above, you need to read it carefully then click on the first link to verify that this is your email address and that you have registered with the web site. The link will look similair to this one: http://siulumgar.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=confirm&confirmcode=reg15652f2e2ed1f7aa79733b4de2f051c60c57eadf
You will then see a Registration Complete page just like the one below. This then means the FINAL email with your automatically generated password is on it's way to your email address.
Step 5
A new email with all your login information will be arrive by email, it will look like the one above, showing your email address, username and the password.
Step 6
Go back to the Siu Lum Gar web site then click on the Login link
Step 7
Enter the username and password from the email. Please remember to enter them exactly as shown, the simple way would be to copy & paste them in. Once that's done click on the small arrow beside "Remember Me" to login.
Step 8
After you login you'll see the "hidden" menus for registered users. The menu above will take you to the Students Forum where all the latest news and newsletters are kept. Feel free to post something or comment on articles. The Students Training Manual is a PDF file so you need to ensure that you have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your PC/Mac if not then you can download it for free from here: Download Adobe Acrobat
There is also an Events Calendar which shows important dates, demo dates, grading dates etc etc. By clicking on them you'll be presented with further information about the event in question.
